How It Works
A Clear, Collaborative Approach to Online Support
Finding support for your child can feel overwhelming. We aim to make the process understandable, collaborative, and focused on the goals that matter to your family.
Step 01
01
Share Your Concerns
Begin by completing an enquiry form with basic information about your child, your main concerns, and the activities or routines where you would like support.
Please share only the information needed to arrange an appropriate consultation.
Step 02
02
Book Consultation with the Expert
Discuss your child’s strengths, interests, everyday participation, and your family’s priorities.
This conversation helps determine whether online therapy or home plan along with parent coaching may be appropriate and whether additional assessments need to be considered.
Step 03
03
Identify Meaningful Goals
Where appropriate, work together to identify practical goals related to everyday participation.
These may involve routines, fine motor activities, sensory experiences, movement, or other areas within the agreed scope of service.
Step 04
04
Receive Individualized Guidance
Depending on the service selected, recommendations may include online therapy sessions, environmental adaptations, caregiver strategies, or a home program.
Recommendations should be relevant to your child’s needs and appropriate for implementation in your home environment.
Step 05
05
Practice and Reflect
Try agreed-upon strategies within everyday routines, observe your child’s responses, and discuss any questions during follow-up support when available.
Progress can look different for every child. Plans may need to change as needs, interests, and circumstances change.
What Should You Prepare?
Before an online consultation, it may help to have:
- A few examples of everyday situations you would like to discuss.
- Your child’s interests and activities they enjoy.
- Questions about routines or participation.
- A quiet, private space for the conversation.
- Relevant information requested in advance by the provider.
You do not need to prepare a perfect summary of your child’s development. Your observations and questions are a useful place to start.
